I'm still hoping to see some concrete answers to the questions I posed above, while keeping in mind the advice given by sangi39 and Salmoneus elsewhere on the board.
I fear that we may be forced to entrust the waiting to subsequent generations.

An immigrant from the Philippines with Mohawk blood? How'd you get the Mohawk admixture in you? What's even funnier...I'm pretty sure I've seen an image that is supposed to be "Bob" and is was very Caucasian. Not assuming anything, as I know skin tone, hair texture, eye color, etc, don't ...

Re: Star Trek Ferengi Language by Timothy Miller and David Salo from 1995

There are actually quite a few multisyllabic Ferengi names: List of Ferengi on Memory Alpha True. However the majority are monosyllabic, which still suggests a complex syllable structure. That's all I'm saying, really. Kinda like the Klingons having an overwhelming preponderance of names beginning ...

Re: Star Trek Ferengi Language by Timothy Miller and David Salo from 1995

I know that most of their names tend to be monosyllabic, so their syllable structure is probably very complex, I would imagine Counterpoint: Quark is the son of Keldar. The names we have include Quark, Rom, Keldar, Nog, Tog, Zek, Mookie (which admittedly is, IIRC, a nickname), and Brunt. If they do...

But a lot of things that I look for in logographic writing systems, I discovered within the past 15 years. It's all these little things that nobody even knows to look for. The point of my reply is that I specialize in conscripts and logographic writing systems and that most people really just scrat...

Re: Star Trek Ferengi Language by Timothy Miller and David Salo from 1995

what does the Ferengi phonology look like? I know that most of their names tend to be monosyllabic, so their syllable structure is probably very complex, I would imagine could you describe it please? what is the morphosyntactic alignment? I would also imagine that a multitude of lemma center around ...

https://i.imgur.com/hEu6ZOq.png Been messing around with the idea of different diacritics for the endings –m (or -lo (indicating general plural), -n (indicating adverbial or adjectival use), and –k (or -nke ) (indicating negative mood). These endings all are word final and thus far I've been using ...

I’ve been working on a descendant of Caber script. I tried to post the images but I guess they are height-restricted now and I’m on mobile, so a link will have to do: https://imgur.com/a/JQPeiA5 The age-verification thing is just recent imgur policy. Re: Kala changes/new words

ma'a - with [accompanied by / furnished with] will now be "be together with", "to accompany"

ma will be used for the preposition "with" in addition to its current meaning "and; also; too; as well"
