You just reminded me to tell everyone to try to speak Vaku, as they have everything to make a basic dialogue.

I just do it b/c that's me.
[:D]

But you may want to post some exercises for some folks who aren't into spontaneous conlang poesy. [B)]

Lambuzhao wrote:You show basic possessor [->] possessed relationships

E.g.

ku hitha 'my pets'
wu vutaha 'your mood'
wu gekaro 'your name'

How does a possessive work between two nouns? The same or different?

How do ADJs work? Do they go before or after nouns they modify?

How do you say 'old' and 'new' ?

Oh, could you also talk about Adjective Comparison (Comparative, Superlative) if it exists in Vaku?

[:)]
1) you can say "ku krog hu ku jupu" : " My dog and my cat".
Or "ku krog hu jupu" : "my dog and cat".

2) ADJs go before : "ku raku jupu" : "My small cat".

3) old : čara ; new : bepu

4) It already exists : the adjectives "ki" and "har".
Examples : "ki gut" : "the best" ; "har gut" : "better".

Hope that helped.

gači !

Insofar as Possession, I meant, what happens if it is two nouns (not a PRN + noun):

E.g.

Stones of Blood

Revenge of the Sith

Attack of the Clones

Return of the Jedi

Genesis of the Daleks

Book Store

lead pencil

gum eraser

Maternity Ward

etc.
BTW - No need to translate these exactly, if you don't have the words yet.

The word that acts as the adjective gets placed like one.

Blood's Stones
Sith's Revenge
Clones' Attack
And so on and so forth.

PS : You inspired me to make an adjective that makes a noun definite.

Noun definiteness

In Vaku, there exists a definite article, that acts as an adjective, but is exceptionally placed after the noun it modifies.

Examples :
čëgdhu : a man, a Human being.
čëgdhu ke : the man, the Human being.

Next up, family members and body parts !

How do you say testes? Prostate? Scrotum? If you want I can give you a word list for the genitals.

I think the more important question here is "Why do you need to know?". Are you a con-urologist?

I was planning putting testicles but I think I pretty much stated what's necessary.

That's called a definite article, not an adjective. [:)]
