Would it be possible to have a bunch of key phrases outlining basic grammatical constructions glossed? Or at least an explanation of how Modern Greek and modern greek languages handle some basic things such as superlatives/comparatives, adjectival agreement and proper use of adjectives, proper use of the copula, and when a noun is definite and not definite? Or, at least, some pitfalls not to fall into when deciding how a greek-descended language orders itself?
Furthermore, why does modern greek preserve word final consonants found in ancient greek? that's just not fair in my opinion. Is it because conservative writing causes formal greek to regress a little? is it an illusion of the historical spelling? or something else?
