Lexember 5th - Yélian

cefraspulvon [ˈkeːɾɐsˌpulvɔ̈n] - special offer, bargain offer, promotional offer
cefrasfost [ˈkeːɾɐsɔ̈st] - special offer, bargain offer, promotional offer

Etymology I: cefras "offer" + pulvon "hot", literally "hot offer"
Etymology II: cefras "offer" + fost "cold", literally "cold offer"

Both words are interchangeable and therefore I decided to include them both as one lexember entry.

Cragas! Cragas! Fadiʻest! Fadakomé icroʻi %i 50! Cimárias vat cefraspulvonceletarel!

I'm just gonna continue with some words from the building blocks I now have:

Proto-Bokisig

/ʔo.'da.som/ "to receive"

This is basically the same as /ʔo.'da.ma/ "to give", but the other dynamic verb ending, derived from the earlier dummy verb /som/, is added.

/ʔo.da.'som.hu/ "(government) official"

First to mean the person who receives / collects taxes, later any government official.

More words derived from previous entries, both making use of the nominaliser "kuku" which is used to express 1. a quantity, or 2. a specific part of a greater total; the part is of quality X, the rest of the total isn’tfor abstract quality.

It is different to the nominaliser "ku" which is expresses that something is of a certain quality, or that something has been done; compare e.g.
/ma.'hɛ.ku/ = "the quality of being strong" to /ma.hɛ.'ku.ku/ = "amount of strength".

Crossing the nominaliser /kuku/ with /ʔo.da.ma/ ("to give") results in:
/ʔo.da.ma.'ku.ku/ generosity

And for the "opposite" word, /ʔo.da.som/ ("to receive"), we have:

/ʔo.da.som.'ku.ku/ 1. taxation 2. Income 3. riches, fortune

An example sentence:

mu-hɛ ʔɛg-nuz hihin ʔo.da.som.ku.ku hɛ
1SG-GEN.AL AUG-friend many riches have
“My best friend has lots of riches” => “My best friend is rich.”

/hihin/ is also the word for five in the native Bokisig number system, but is in this sense slowly being replaced by the relevant number from the Txabao numbering system, which is used in parallel.
