Given that ring II is a lot behind ring I, wouldn't you all think it makes sense if one or two of the remaining participants from ring II switch to ring I?

That's a very interesting suggestion! If you people on ring 2 would like to change just tell me.

Personally, I'm not very fond of that idea. I'd prefer it if every ring has the same number of participants to allow both rings an equal number of chances to mess up the original text. Especially since ring 2's current translation is rather tame at the moment apparently.

Well yes, that is the con, the pro is that it finishes sooner and both rings end at the same time.

I see the tradeoff, and vote in favor of letting the relay finish sooner, even if it means one ring has fewer links. If you decide to move anybody loglorn, I volunteer :)

My translation is complete! Now I just have to somehow create a grammar guide that will be as pleasant and smooth for loglorn to work with as alynnidalar's was for me. This...is not likely to happen, but I'm going to try my level best.

I should be able to pass it on tomorrow, or Monday at the latest.
