Anything in particular that you like?
I'd actually been thinking about this question. I think what I'd say is that you, by chance or by design, struck that balance between the letters all looking the same vs letters of radically different shapes on one axis, along with the script appearing to form an organic whole vs a script that appears to be a pastiche. In other words, you made a script that not only looks plausible, but is also convincingly realistic!

Aesthetically, I particularly like the elegant simplicity of the letter forms and the rounded angles (which I imagine could in world be a matter of font design rather than actual letter evolution). You've got some ascenders, some descenders, some bits that stick out to left & right, which avoids boxiness (even though, to be frank, most of the letters áre in fact boxes!).

All that shows not only skill but artistry!

Well thank you much for that! It also makes me happy that I managed to do this in MSPaint with tenacity and a base font to start from.

Yes, the goal for my scripts is typically realism, so I'm glad that I seemingly achieved that.

As an aside, two of the vowels have a different form when terminal (they resemble the turned V and the T shape), both of which are shown in the script proper and have tails... but lose the tails when internal to a word (which are shown off to the side).

Today I added a new conjunction to my Kankonian grammar:

A descriptive "which" which implies an "and" comment -- usually in such a construction in "which it is" or "which it isn't" -- is translated as azmui (which+and):

Stamos ashoven az heshra umbish as barudar, azmui wan as.
Stamos comment-PST that heshra current PRS fascist_pig REL-and 3s PRS
Stamos commented that the current heshra was a fascist pig, which he is.

Piqana zararas az kyupidzik as kasht, azmui wan os as.
Piqana insist-PRS that birth_control PRS wrong REL-and 3s NEG PRS
Piqana insists that birth control is wrong, which it isn't.

My newest Kankonian words: phalksarenphuphzin, meaning "known unknown" and phalirenphuphzin, meaning "unknown unknown". They shorten to phalksar and phalir respectively.

These two words are borrowed from the Achel pralksarenphuphzin and pralirenphuphzin, which translate respectively to "outer-layer ignorance" and "inner-layer ignorance".

Added the word for lesbian to my Rireinutire dictionary.

ropepurepiyarupapiñi /ˈɹopepuˌɹepijɑˌɹupɑpiŋi/ n. R lesbian

It's not a word that gets much use, but the Rireinukave have had their horizons broadened quite a bit after coming in contact with galactics.

Curious: what does it signify? It looks like it's made up of three words, is that right?

It is indeed a compound, formed on the basis of what seemed the most salient quality of the galactic concept 'lesbian'.
ropepu adj. male
repiya n. R lover, girlfriend
rupa- vt. reject
-piñi aff. (agentive)
That is, 'person who rejects male lovers'. The whole concept of male sapients, much less lovers, is literally alien to the Rireinukave.

I remember that about the Rireinukave! What's new with them, anyway?

Uu, very little I'm afraid. Rireinu is dull as ditchwater, but a great place to raise kids. Speaking of kids, I think the Rireinutire kinship chart is the most recent thing I've finished. Lately I've been concentrating on translation-spamming ConWorkShop.

hehe!

I'm hazarding the guess that your comment of three years ago, that the females are "obligate lesbians" is a bit off, if the concept is alien to them! The system makes sense for them, the males being what they are, though.

Seeing as how the Rireinukave are anatomically female and love and marry each other exclusively, I still stand by my comment. It's a simplified soundbite aimed for galactic sensibilities, not the Rireinukave themselves.

As you might expect I’m fascinated with that kinship chart!

After eating a meal with the best chicken enchilada I had ever had a few minutes ago, I coined a new Kankonian lexeme: eksakraka yagel, which means "one food that is so delicious it makes all the other foods at a meal taste bland". It translates literally to "golden oyster".

I coined a new word in Kobardon: pabódaia happening, feast, party, celebration, festivity which is an augmentative noun derived from pabóia event, incident, occurence which is itself an action nominalization derived from the verb apó I happen. And the verb is from the abstract root pói which roughly relates to things happening or the present.

And other stuff.

….
Edit: : All of that work has disappeared now. I’ll have to re-do it all.
