A disk jockey is not a jockey.
A tree surgeon is not a surgeon.
An animal husband is not a husband.
A midwife is not a wife.

What other professions reuse the names of other professions, or personal classifications, in a completely unrelated way?

Good so far. Expanding it to include compound nouns other than professions, a search engine is not an engine. Oh and there are many animal species:

A guinea pig is not a pig.
A seahorse is not a horse.
A dragonfly is neither a dragon nor a fly.
A ladybird is neither a lady not a bird.

However, they are leguminous, and they do fit the non-botanical definition of a nut. They have a shell, and have a woody, bitter-tasting inside.

pomegranate and grenade are cognate (by means of borrowing) - the weapon got its name from the fruit, really.
