Professor M. Wutgiembuttenschmersstein found some ancient tablets on a deep-dive into an archeological site in the middle of Anatolia. When he reported his discoveries, his colleagues were frankly bored of him, and so they all forgot about him and his work for fifteen years.
At the end of one of their "loquacious" cocktail parties years later (really they were very dull), one of them nudged their elbow into the sides of Professor M. and made an in-joke to him about the worthlessness of his work.
So, uh, well, that really got things going, and now the Professor was real mad.
So he threw himself into his studies of the ancient tablets - all fifteen-hundred of them - and while doing that, he discovered many of them were curse tablets.
And so as he was translating them, he hopped on a boat with new tablets of his own creation, and threw his own new cruciations of his own writing in ancient script into the pit where he had found them all first, and everyone died.
The end.
Just kidding. He returned home a laughingstock.
And THEN everyone died.

So anyways, about the language.
When transcribing the script, Professor M. discovered letters giving the precise enunciation of Sšerasšxaâde (the native term for the language), which was notorious among the ancient Semites of the region for giving them such actual, bona-fide headaches when trying to learn how to pronounce the words. The text includes an early recipe for aspirin using tree bark and betel leaves.
No known connections with Hattic, Proto-Indo-Hurro-Uralic-Zuaritian-Nembish-Salish-Salic, or Proto-Afro-Asiatic have yet been established through the text corpus. But it did establish the Proto-Afro-Asiatic-Dravidian urheimat - through this pronunciation guide - very well.

(In one of the pages Professor M. wrote on this: "Wow, these phones really do fit the Latin alphabet very well" in a very quaint Prusso-German manner.)

<a e i o u> stood for /a e i o u/. Pretty simple.
But <â ê î ô û> stood for these extended vowels, like the Inuit long vowels, in that they also have rising-then-falling tone: /a˨˦˧: e˨˦˧: i˨˦˧: o˨˦˧: u˨˦˧:/

Consonants were
m n /m n/
p t č c k/p t t∫ k q/
b d g /b d g/
f s š x q /f s ∫ x X/
v z ž h /v z 3 /
l r /ɫ̢ ɹ̠ʷ/
w y j /w ˠẘ j/
and could be combined in a row. Same with vowels. Hence the name Sšerasšxaâde, which in fact according to the Hattics, actually drove them to extinction, because the Proto-Pre-Greek-Pre-Latin-Pre-Etruscan-Pre-Pre-Greek-Kartvelo-Sinitics confused them for another tribe because they couldn't pronounce their name - though their own language was even worse. See here https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id= ... =1up&seq=9 for Prof. M's book on the matter of PPGPLPEPPEKS and here viewtopic.php?p=323394&hilit=The+vowels ... ed#p323394 for more information without the paywall.

Oh yeah, forgot the last part of the challenge:
