Re: How to post a conscript on the internet or a forum?
i just tried that glyphmaster program and i agree, it's alot handier than fontstruct. but is there anyway to convert it to a font so you can type it? if so, what if you wanted to be able to type a syllabrary? I think it's not designed to make fonts, but just glyphs, what i'll do is save each glyph ...

Re: My experimental conscript
From the sample: wow, really nice script :)
Try to play with it: rotate 90 degrees and see if it's better vertically, personally i'd prefer it vertically.

Re: Vīre
I have something to ask, you write "it" as deke, but there's no <k> as a romanization, is it an error?

Re: Guess The Language!!!
Alright. :) I'll not be there for a few weeks, so I leave the next one to someone else. May I do this? :D Technically extinct, but those are verses of a recent song, so people still speak it (like Latin, only few people) Nimmi mapos, immi drucocu. In cetobi selgin agumi, selgin blatos tou iouintuto...

Re: My planets
Hey, you came back! :D Very nice! Done in Photoshop, I assume? Maybe you could give us some tips; you might have seen my own planet that I did in another thread here, yours looks way more realistic than mine. Yeah i'll often stop by and post some messages here but I gave up with conlanging for a fe...

Re: My planets
I think he's talking about the spherical thing with the red cracks in it. If I had to wager a guess it's probably a moon of the big purple gas giant, perhaps recently formed and still cooling. While it's better than anything I could do, I suggest using higher-detail textures. The stars in the backg...

Re: New conworld
Hey i'm not expert in planets! :( I just wanted to give a quick overview of how it should look compared to earth. This planet, should be between 2700 - 3500 km. If you can share your experience and help with technical stuff as Mass, pressure etc you're welcome :D I like using this set of calculator...

Re: New conworld
A planet as big as Mars probably wouldn't be able to encircle the Earth as a moon. The best you could get is a binary planet system (Similar to Pluto and Charon), with possibly the Earth's existing moon being in shared orbit around both of these to make kind of a ternary system. What type of stable...

Pretty conscript! It's reminds me of Georgian. Thanks. I have to state that I haven't created it. I found it on Omniglot, and I tried to contact the author, but he didn't reply. Btw, it's Nirichaen . I knew I seen this script before! This is a very nice one, and I hope the author allows you to use ...

New conworld
Hi, i was bored yesterday with no internet and made a small conworld. It is a small planet (approx same size as Mars). The planet is a moon, belonging to earth. It is not inhabited by anyone or whatever, since actually it's only a map. If anyone want this for one of their conlang/conpeople's map, ju...

Is it Siberian Yupik? Is it written in it's real script, or is it a romanization?

Re: Collaborative Germanic Auxlang
Let's do some pronouns then? My suggestions: I - ek [ɛk] you - du [du] he/she - de [dɘ] he - ha [ha] she - sa [sa] it - det [dɛt] we - wi [ʋi] you - ju [ju] they - se [sɘ] Obviously, I am not at all sure about their orthography or prono, but just giving an idea. Do we want (i.e. need) a formal 'you...

Re: Why is it that most IALs simply dont work? (very long)
But tell me, why is this? Why do ppl create and publish languages that are unusable? Dont they bother to test out the language before they publish it? I can understand simply failing bc you tried some new idea that didnt work, but why release it to the public knowing it's a failure? Yes, I have the...

kit /kɪt/ > kiet /ki:t/ . Doesn't look too germanic and would be hard to memorize. Diacritics are the best choices even though they're hard to type... That looks pretty germanic to me. Much and much more than kít. Accent aigu's are pretty ungermanic, AFAIC. One way or another, my proposal has optio...

Re: Collaborative Germanic Auxlang
This is the best I can make, now if you can't type diacritics, I can design a custom keyboard layout for you with them, just ask me. Consonants: /p b t d tʃ k g/ w<p b t d tj k g> /m n ŋ/ <m n ng> /f v s z ʃ x h/ <f v s z sj ch h> /ʋ~w l j/ <w l j> /r~ʁ/ <r> Long/Tense: /i:/ <í> / <ee> /y:/ <ü> /u:/...
