Trust me , I'm far from a talented artist. I picked a stick off of the ground, flattened a side with a vegetable peeler and wrote on it with sharpie marker.

I made it quite recently. (Yesterday to be exact), so its still technically a work in progress, but thank you.

Re: Tense Survey

In Falgo, tense is marked with a verb prefix. This prefix is combined with suffixes to create a variety of different tense/mood combinations without increasing complexity.

Fyiko - Experimental

So this is an experimental conlang I'm doing to see how small a phoneme inventory can really be. Phonology: Consonants: /ʎ/ /f/ /t/ /ʔ/ /k/ /d/ Vowels: /i/ /o/ /ɛ/ /a/ Transliteration: Fyiko is written with it's own script, transliteration is as follows: /ʎ/ <y> /k/ <k> /f/ <f> /d/ <d> /t/ <t> /i/ <...

Re: Logographic Systems: Pros and Cons

I definitely agree that logographs are difficult to learn, and this can be a major hindrance in learning the language. However, I think that a logographic system makes the script more readable, as it prevents identical or similar spellings, and, with a complex system, individual elements of a charac...

Re: Logographic Systems: Pros and Cons

I have always been a huge fan of writing systems of all kinds. I always make a script for my conlangs but I especially like logographic ones.. Hands down my favourite has to be Hangul (Not truly logographic, I know, but it has that feel)

Logographic Systems: Pros and Cons

I really love logographic writing systems(Chinese, Egyptian Hieroglyphs, etc.) and I was wondering what CBB had to say on the topic. What do you think the advantages and disadvantages of a logographic system are? Do any of you use logographs for your conlangs?

Re: Weika

Then your insistence on -h to mark verbs was a gigantic unnecessary waste. I'm just trying to preserve the sounds (ha, hoda, etc...), if it makes you happy, I'll remove the restriction and change the endings to begin with an h. It equates to the same thing. Relative clauses, coordination, WH-questi...
