I'm not on the largest facebook conlang groups at all. About 5 years ago, one of the largest groups had me as admin and I wouldn't do bad things, so all the largest facebook conlang groups sent me into permanent exile. I think the admin of one of the largest groups got jealous because I made a conl...

All of the fans of Okrand Atlantean from the movie Atlantis: The Lost Empire are on the 20 year old, 500 member facebook group: Greetings! I think the same suggestions would apply here as to clarity and legibility of posts. Also, we have a forum called "Conlangs" where your work on other people's l...

You know it! The lemons are waiting and the sugar is boughten! One of my favorite summer tunes - 🎶Thy lemons are awaitin' and mi sugar is yboughten And limonaná's abrewin' ere long! 🎵 Don't agree with the online recipes. Mine's simple. In a tall cup, put two capfuls of lemon or lime juice, 3-4 pack...

Did you post this on Reddit revently?
I did! I think in Neography. Someone liked it well enough to ask for a resource to be made, so they can use it in their own recipes!

Re: Other Creativity

Probably a departure from all norms of Silvish cakery, I asked for lemon icing, because I like lemon icing. Well, lucky for you, the Silvish aren't here to stop you. [>:)] From experience, I can say it goes well with berries and whipped cream; the TV show where I saw the recipe recommended jam. Or ...

Re: Other Creativity

Well, if you're not going to share the cake with us, at least share the recipe! In Silvish! I tried uploading it to the cloud, but Dropbox says ".cakex" isn't a valid extension [>:|] I'll give the recipe translation a try. The recipe as I linked to it is a little light on detail, and I made some mo...

Re: Silvish

Charming! And delicious sounding to boot! Quite understandable, though i doubt i could do much with a "normal" Silvish text. My sweetie pie uses soured milk, too, when baking, in stead of buttermilk! I will have to pass this along so I can actually try some proper Silvish cuisine...once I translate ...

Re: Symbols of Concultures

Would you say there is some avoidance of having a white field and/or border in a fantasy flag? I always struggle for a second to see the white third of Russia's flag when it's on a white webpage. I Just realised now that that's (probably and partly) why those animated rippling flags were so popular...

Today I made a Savoy cake based on a recipe I saw on a French TV show. It's made by whipping egg whites and yolks and folding in flour and starch. I've been keeping an eye on this show in particular because it focuses on the region where Silvia is located. Looking into the history of Savoy cake, it...

If anyone is irked. I won't spam the threads with this sort of thing, maybe find a discord server. Not at all. This is precisely the kind of thing this thread, and indeed this forum, is for! In fact, rather than the chat we engage in on the discord, it would actually be nice to see longer, ooey-goo...

Brick Laying Brick laying is a game at tiles for a single player. Use the thirty-two tile set. 1. Shuffle the tiles face down and make up eight stacks of four, all in one neat wall. 2. Bring down the top layer of the wall and lay them face up below the wall, forming the tableau. https://i.postimg.c...

Also I have no idea what "LGBXYZ" is supposed to mean, the most common term is simple LGBT. It costs you nothing to make fun of the issues people experience with their sexuality, gender, and person. Please try not to make assumptions about others or put words in their mouth. You don't know me. You ...

political nonrant If you can't talk about politics without purposefully using offensive terms (such as "LGBXYZ", in this specific case), then stay away from the subject. Sorry bout that. Re: The Sixth Conversation Thread

Do you mean misspelled "breath"? Yes. I've become hyper-aware of it in light of recent events in America. It baffles me because the words are pronounced differently, which should make it easier to remember the spelling. When I see "breath" written out, I automatically read it as /bɹɛθ/, never as /b...
