Re: 'Re-construction' challenge no #1: Modern Gandhari

Re: Osroene: A Possible Euphratic IE Language

Have you tried writing Osroene in the Arabic script yet, given the language's geographic position (assuming the Islamic conquests still happen), because I certainly might try my hand at doing so.

Re: Zeko-Romance development thread

Zekoslav wrote: 14 Aug 2019 14:06 This isn't, I confess, my first Romance conlang: that honor would go to Occitan, which I accidentally reinvented while trying to invent a Gallo-Romance language somewhat more conservative than French...
Not to nitpick, but Occitan is NOT a conlang, but a natural language with real speakers.

Interesting premise you got there (especially since the Jews of Poland-Lithuania had been one of the largest and most prominent Ashkenazic communities from the 17th century up to the Holocaust) One nitpick though is that the K'naaim in this case, would actually be one of three Jewish linguistic comm...

BTW, before we get to more of Carpetanian, here's a little translation of something inspired by playing Kaiserreich . Hope you like it. Re: Carpetanian (Ibero-Romance conlang)

7) Adjectives Adjectives, as a rule, function much like Spanish and the other Indo-European languages, in that they usually come after the word and are generally divided into those whose base form inflects with the gender (typically those that end in - u ) and those that don't.
