Re: What CBB Language Am I Looking At?

Sure, why not:

Atili (Romanization)

Atili (Transliteration)
` b d h k l ˡ m n r s t v z

Apologies for the further delay. I am just putting everything together to send off now.

EDIT: And sent.

Re: CBB Audio Relay I (Sign ups)

I must apologize; I've been feeling unwell again, so I've only gotten a little bit translated. I hope to be done some time next week, but I definitely won't be done by the weekend.

Re: CBB Audio Relay I (Sign ups)

Yes, that's fine with me. I wasn't feeling well earlier this week, so I missed the notification. I can get started tomorrow unless Jackk has already started.

Re: CBB Audio Relay I (Sign ups)

Since we're drawing close to November, just giving advance notice that I will be unavailable from November 23-28, as I will be visiting family for US Thanksgiving in case I end up landing there.

Re: CBB Audio Relay I (Sign ups)

Would I still be able to sign up? Preference would be for going near the end here, so as to avoid as much potential conflict with the preparations for my older sister's wedding on October 14th as possible. If the answer is yes, I would like to join with Atruozan as per the usual (it's finally an ex...

Re: CBB Audio Relay I (Sign ups)

I'll give this a go with Atili. May I suggest that the writeup also include phonology charts and orthography rules so we have some idea what sounds we're looking for and how those might be written in the dictionary? But I won't be able to do the first week of October because I'll be at a conference ...

Two women stood at the outskirts of a small village. “Your mother keeps asking why I care for you,” said one of the women. “You do love me, don’t you?” “Of course I love you, but you’re always scared and you never want to leave home.” “How dare you‽ I’m not afraid! Re: Have You Made a Polysynthetic Conlang?

I haven't seen those Thai romanizations, although I vaguely remember Google doing something odd with <x>. So if you know anything about the Thai orthography, you probably know it's a mess. Enter ISO-11940, a Romanization for Thai that asked the question "what if we made a Romanization that is ...

Re: CBB Conlang Relay XV - SIGNUPS CLOSED

Of a couple questions I could absolve myself, but for most, I bear at least partial responsibility. Several words and affixes were missing from the materials I gave to Trailsend, and there was at least one error in the text itself.

You're doing that Hmong thing, aren't you, with the illegal coda consonants to mark tone? And also that Thai Romanization thing where they use <v> and <x> as vowels?

That's Atili. <ÿ> is the centralized version of <y> [j], which would be [ɹ~ɜ̯].
