Re: Quick Diachronics Challenge
Just a quick revised guess: *[ˈtsa.i.koːk] I might try to reconstruct it again later. I will declare one by noon today. EDIT: I didn't reply to your guess, so here goes: There is only one word initial consonant(not an affricate), and it wasn't palatal. There are four vowels, including a word final ...

Re: Project ᴏᴍɴɪ
Sounds like a clever system. If I'm understanding this correctly in that each ABC set is a root, then you have 1000 roots, not 100. It is 10x10x10 = 100. Have you considered using 0 for the 10th item? Makes it easy to type on a numpad. Good idea. Could also start with 0 (although it doesn't matter ...

Project ᴏᴍɴɪ
I am trying to create a CVC conlang where each phoneme has a meaning. If we call the structure ABC, there needs to be 10 phonemes for A, 10 phonemes for B, and 10 phonemes for C. Then, I can create a (procedural) 1000 root system, from which I can say anything with basic roots. I do this, because I ...

Hello. I am back! (I came back when I accidentally clicked a bookmark) This website looks different (but better!) If you don't remember me, I have researched linguistics on Wikipedia, finding my love for linguistics when I created a modified alphabet for English. I realise this may be misplaced, but...

Re: Atlas: new auxlang
Some featuresin your conlang are difficult to be suitable for an auxlang. - It is weird to distinguish /ʒ ʃ/, but not distinguish /f v/ and /s z/. - Distinction of different nasal consonants in coda - Voiced plosive consonants in coda - The sequence -mt- is unstable and becomes -mpt- or -nt-.
