Re: Suomen kielen keskusteluketju | Finnish Conversation Thread
Olen valmis tyydyttämään uteliaisuuttanne ja kääntämään ehdottamianne suomenkielisiä tekstejä omalle kielelleni nimeltä litakihumi. Käännän, jos ei ole erityistä syytä olla kääntämättä. Käännän ensi töikseni luvut yhdestä kymmeneen, koska sitä on jo pyydetty, ja viestitän pyytäjälle.

How to type (and post here) text with a conscript?
How could someone (preferably easily) type (and post this forum) text written with a conscript? The conscript I created today has 38 symbols so it wouldn't be very hard to type it with a normal keyboard.

Re: suomi
Tässä on suomennettu ”Leipzig glossing rules”. Netistä löytyy käytännön esimerkkejä glossaamisesta. Jätin ne kirjoittamatta, koska tämä on muutenkin todella pitkä teksti. Sääntö 1 Glossattavassa tekstissä ja glossissa sanojen alut ovat allekkain ja alkavat vasemmalta. Sääntö 2 Sanojen morfeemit erot...

Re: Weird Dream Thread
In my dream, a young astronomer (he exists in real world but I don't tell his name) had written a short story about people that live around a blue star. An elder astronomer told him that there doesn't exist any blue stars; no red giant becomes a blue star. But the younger astronomer supported a rese...

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here
My conscript is composed of short lines in squares. In every square, there are twenty positions where it can be or not be a short line (six horizontally, six vertically, and eight diagonally). This means that there are total of 2^20=1,048,576 possible symbols. So my question is: what are the easiest...

Whoa! I didn't know Swadesh list.
Is there something that is like Swadesh list, but grammar, not base vocabulary? Edit: I mean I want to make grammar while translating sentences

Let's assume someone is fluent in spoken and written English but who knows no other languages. How would they spell the word [øykre]? The word is the name of my conlang in the conlang itself. I will use your answer when speaking (writing) about my conlang in English. I edited my post to make it soun...

What do you recommend? What to do?
I currently know very little about my conlang. I want to make more content by translating. I ask your opinion: what should I translate and in which order?
