Re: Modern Khotanese -- "reviving" an extinct Eastern Iranian language (advice needed)

By the way, do you study in a university with access to journals? Or does your university has any materials pertaining to the Khotanese language? My university does not provide access to journal collectors (such as Brill), and some of the more interesting journals I cannot access because they are n...

Re: my phonetics - naturalistic

I have a few questions. What sounds are /â/, /ë/, /Ö/ and /ü/? Is this IPA or some other phonetic notation?
I believe /ü/ is /y/ and that /ö/ is /ø/. /â/and /ë/are probably /ɑ/ and /ɛ/ respectively.

When you say that mata people look like a mix of White and Siberian people, do you mean the Sibirid (Paleo-siberian) phenotype like Samoyeds,Uralids or Chukchi people or the Tungid one like Manchu ,Yakutian and Mongolian people? http://humanphenotypes.net/basic/Sibirid.html http://humanphenotypes.ne...

Grammatical cases derivation

I would like to create a Satem language derived from PIE. How can I make evolve grammatical cases (and other grammatical features) ?
