Re: Choroze

is that a name for your new conlang? You may also continue (create) with grammar, or it will just be like a sketch of a conlanga? Yeah, I will be referring to this conlang as Choroze, although I may also refer to it as Bulaqond Reloze. And I've got a lot of grammar written already, I've just been s...

Re: Choroze

Nouns I will go over the various declensions here. There are 5 cases: Nominative/Absolutive, Accusative/Ergative, Genitive, Dative, and Locative. The fact that the nominative and absolutive cases are merged is a little confusing; in very old writing the genitive form is often used for the absolutiv...

Choroze

This is a language for a conworld that I've had since I was a kid. It exists on the edge of a universe 20 universes away from ours, but I will go into more depth about the world at another time. Although Choroze as a whole is very linguistically diverse, on other planets the upper-mid dialect of the...

Re: CONLANG RELAY XI

Well now I feel really dumb. I must have been rushing to get the torch sent and ended up uploading the one that was sent to me instead of my own. So all that translating was for nothing. Well at least it was a fun time. I can post the unused torch if anyone's interested in seeing it but I'm pretty b...

Torch sent to Creyeditor. I'll have the gloss for loglorn soon, but I wanted to send this asap so the test can continue.

I'd be interested in joining this. I'll use a language I'm currently working on, Choroze.

Here's the discord link: https://discord.gg/vjp7Zn7

When you join the server, if your username is different than on here just say who you are so I can put you in the right role. There are only a few channels now but I can add whatever channels people need.

Re: Reconstruction Relay

This seems like a really fun relay, but I probably won't have the time to create a language for it. I'll definitely be following it, and if needed I can create discord servers.

Re: What did you accomplish today?

Working on an a priori lang with historical spelling. Got to a point where the 2nd person plural past tense of the verb meaning "to see" is spelled dogrpfa and pronounced /doːp/. Looking forward to working more with this language!

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

Thanks for the answer, Zekoslav. I think I have a better understanding now. Would I be correct in summarizing it as an analogy to a similar grammatical construction? So my idea now is that one language allows more than one finite verb per clause, where the primary verb is nominative-accusative and t...

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

Hey, I have a few questions based on a family of languages I'm developing (currently in the very early stages). How does a split-ergative alignment evolve from a non-split alignment? And if two languages came into close contact with each other and each of those languages had different alignments (po...
