Re: Romanization game #2
I like how you put the vowels with the consonants. Re: Web 1.0 nostalgia
I love Tchaikovsky. I used to listen to Souvenir de Florence, just close my eyes and imagine a story for it. Ah, and what I'd give to see a real birzhe (boursa). I've actually tried doing one of those - it's very beneficial, if both people have the same goal and ability. To truly confide in a friend...

Re: Web 1.0 nostalgia
Is it weird to feel nostalgia for a time before one's birth? This probably not related to the topic at hand, but sometimes I feel that when hanging around older people or things. Or when I think about things that used to be normal in the olden days, but are relatively absent today. Show me old thin...

Inuit uses base 20, but has a separate word for 1000. Still, you could just macguyver it anyways and borrow a word for, say, 8000.

And this post was actually very easy to follow and quite useful. Thanks! I'll have to remember it.

Fredauon Fun Fact #29 : During the Era of Isolation, rogue Wizards based in tunnels below the Great Mountains sold so-called Demons to the people south of the Great Mountains. These demons were voice-commanded drones with a virtual assistent and powered by solar panels. They differed in how much we...

If you've got the time for it, there's a full grammar of Southern Pomo, which neighbours Kashaya, and has some fairly complicated morphophonology too (especially surrounding the "laryngeal increment". I'll have to remember to save this grammar. Thanks. (It was very sad to read so far... )

Is this a good place to mention Dyrbal? I haven't looked into it (it really seems like people are crazy over it. Are its features really so strange to everywhere and Australia?)
