Re: Sad monkey fox noises

What happens if one of the brains is put out of commission? Or the spinal cord is severed?
I imagine that the whole business with an uncontrollable (or I imagine, limp) tail is a sign of aging, like a frayed spinal cord in people.

""Naturalistic"" conlanging my foot as usual. Conlang number 5541 with the phonology of /a e i o u/ /m n ŋ p t k s x w j l/ knocked, they wanted to let you know that your language spoken by several million people isn't naturalistic. But, my silly opinions aside (especially consid...

I want to just submit some medieval astrological tome that's like 8 volumes long and see how that goes.

Re: Today I learned ...

Two weeks ago I think, but proto-Dravidian didn't have any sibilants. At least, in a true sense.
I always thought this was typical of Pacific languages (in particular Australian ones), so this is very interesting to me. I wonder if this occurs anywhere else.

Proto-Finnic goes on vacation to Papua and comes back with ideas.
I don't feel this is just a cipher, since this seems to have taken some brains on your part. Nice stuff.

Re: Your first conlang

Firstly, I think I'm noticing a trend here. Most of us seem to have grown up with at least two languages in our lives, and that was our gateway to conlanging. I'm guilty of that. I, rather embarrassingly, remain monolingual... Need I remind you: Los resultados son disponsible! The results are out! ...

Re: What kind of conlanger are you?

Honestly, I'd identify my type, if not for the intimidating walls of text. I'm probably a scrapper (most of us are), but I honestly can't tell.
(Not that I don't the appreciate the amount of detail - it's great! It's just... intimidating. They're staring at me. Menacingly.)
