I am indeed 14, though I often don't feel it. Flavia's a little older than I, if I recall correctly.
TBPO being 14 does not surprise me. When is your birthday? I would wonder which of us is older.

Re: What is this phonenom called.
I honestly am skeptical of phonaesthemes. I think half of it is because the words are related in some capacity, and half of it is cherrypicking. I should correct myself. It's true that similarities in words can cause their meanings to drift closer together: gl- in English is a pretty notable case, ...

Re: The CBB Makes a conlang
Why don't we suggest some example proto-forms and see what arises? From there we could get ideas about our grammar and lexicon. *itag̟uː becomes ətʃə, or ətəʒə depending how the stress is. *araːis̠ becomes ʁaəɬ, or əʁaəɬ depending how the stress is. *paŋ̠x̠iː becomes fɴ̩h̪͆i, or fəɴh̪͆i depending ho...

Re: The CBB Makes a conlang
I went ahead and put what we have on a spreadsheet . I also fleshed out a phonological history from the ideas others have put forward: k̟ k̠ g̟ g̠ → k q dʒ ɢ k → tʃ before i(ː) s̠ → ɬ except before i(ː) a aː i iː u uː → ə a ɨ i o ɨ p b d dʒ ɢ → f β ð ʒ ɢ~ʁ s̠ → ʃ ə → ∅ when unstressed ɨ → ə r ŋ̠ → ʁ...

Stress rules: 1. A word of entirely light syllables has ultimate stress. 2. A word with a heavy ultimate syllable has ultimate stress. 3. A word with a heavy penultimate syllable and light ultimate syllable has penultimate stress. 4. A word with a heavy antepenultimate syllable and light penultimate...
