Re: Preferred language?

Sometimes I wish Zomítla, my conlang, were my native language and English were a kitchen-sinky conlang I was making. 😏

Re: What is the newest word in your conlang?

Fun Fact: In Indonesian this feeling is known as 'rasa tidak enak badan, which roughly translates as 'not feeling comfortable in your body' and in my variety of German it is 'Ich fühl' mich nich' so', which translates to 'I don't feel so (well)'. I think 'not feeling comfortable in your body' quite...

Re: What is the newest word in your conlang?

The newest word in Zomítla as of today, is 'kanvahetsa' /kaɱvahet͡sa/; 'the feeling of not actually being sick but still not feeling completely well'.
My mum complained of feeling like this this morning.

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

Well, I knew about that but I don't think that will work well for Zomítla since it does not work on any form of consonantal root system and vowels are just as useful as consonants in the language. tiny question: do you have a webpage or a forum thread that has information about Zomitla? thank you. ...

Thanks for the suggestion.
What will the vowel characters/diacritics be then?

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

One option would be not to write them at all, like it is done in many languages written with the Aabic script. Well, I knew about that but I don't think that will work well for Zomítla since it does not work on any form of consonantal root system and vowels are just as useful as consonants in the l...

I intend making an Arabic script for my conlang,

in the Arabic script?
Thanks.
Is it flowing, loosely, like cursive? Is it blocky like Kufic?
It is cursive.

Please I need some help with something. I intend making an Arabic script for my conlang, Zomítla but I'm stuck on the vowels. Please what are the most plausible ways to write the vowels /a~ɑ/, /e~ɛ/, /i/, /o/ and /u/ in the Arabic script? Thanks. Edit: Seems like I forgot to ask about diphthongs as ...

I'm quite conversant with IPA; I just don't know how to use it on this forum. Besides, for some reason, I have been unable to download an IPA keyboard online. Then you can use this , input in XSAMPA or manually, then copy and paste the IPA into your post. Thanks a lot! That's very helpful. [:D]

The newest word in my conlang, Zomítla, as of today, is 'kamairutsi' meaning 'charity organization'. There is no etymology to it.
