I am a Loyalist. In fact, I seem to fit that initial description pretty well! My wife seems to think my language is a masterpiece, anyway! I think the kids just take it for granted. One of my daughters refers to it as our "secret family language". Doesn't every family have its own language?

It is a good thing for oppressed cultures to be able to revitalize their languages. One of the primary ways the Native Americans were conquered was linguistically. They were forced to abandon their own languages and only learn English. The same thing happened in Japan, to the Ainu. Language death me...

Once I had kids, I started teaching my conlang to them. Having someone speaking it back to me made me learn it pretty fast! Sometimes it still freaks me out that the kids speak a language I made up.

Hmm, this thread is very educational.
I always created my own Mosro words, or built new words upon existing Mosro words. I guess in my own mind I thought it was "against the rules" to borrow from natlangs!

A Mosro accent would sound similar to a Russian or German one.
