When I was young, I did.
I liked the encyclopedia more, but I also liked the dictionary.

I don’t have the same details you mention; but I have the similar-in-broad-strokes apprehension about all three of my conlangs that I care about most.

Nope. I posted here in the hopes of getting the attention of somebody who does.
Ask an administrator or a moderator. The user list ought to show you who those are, if i recall correctly.

Many animals build homes.
Many animals find homes.
Humans who didn’t build homes could find them in e.g. caves etc. They still can and still do.
….
So much for homelessness to be our natural state!
But the rest of your post was good to read.

Re: (Conlangs) Q&A Thread - Quick questions go here

I'm planning a accent system that has a contrast between mid/neutal tona or a rising tone on the stressed syllable, i.e. some words have stress accent and others have a tonal accent. Does that appear in natlangs or are they always either or? For most languages the main component of stress is pitch ...

@khemehekis: I notice you’ve got various meanings of the (transitive) verb “tackle”.
But do you have any of the noun “tackle”?
Like fishing tackle?
Or block-and-tackle?
Or wedding tackle?

I couldn’t think of “fishy”. Now that you’ve mentioned it, it seems perfect!

Maybe a ! for better-than-merely-grammatical, if there is such a thing?

Semantics and Pragmatics of Word-Order

I like to take an English clause and take one word in it and put it in each position. Sometimes more of the resulting variants are grammatical than are ungrammatical. I’m going to ask about the following examples: 1. Really I think it’s something I don’t need to do. 2. I really think it’s something ...
