Re: What did you accomplish today?

Re: Random ideas: Morphosyntax
Salishan languages can be analyzed as having no nouns, only verbs. There are arguments against it, but i haven't read them. Honestly I'm not sure why the Salish languages always get singled out as lacking a noun/verb distinction. They definitely have syntactic nouns and verbs, it's just that roots ...

Re: Yay or Nay?
I am currently thinking about one of my languages that is matriarchalic, so women are higher in society. Now I am imagining that it could be cool if not only the vocabulary, but also the used phones in speaking differ whether you are speaking to a female or a male. A few I had in mind contain: Pronu...

How do you all structure the syntax section in your grammar descriptions? I have described the morphology and derivational morphology of all my languages widely elaboratedly, but I struggle to find an entrance into the syntax pages and therefore always have to rely on my intuition. How do you start?...

Crey, you've definitely got a point.
I read your post and was like "****, he's right."
I am going to have to overthink it entirely.
Anyway, thanks to you all for your help!
