I'm bisexual myself and don't see anything wrong with the plural "gays".
Didn't we routinely hear about "gays in the military" awhile back?

If you go to http://khemehekis.angelfire.com/maritogram.gif you should be able to see it. Just reload if it doesn't show at first.

...The parties who wish to marry are recorded on a maritogram, a two-dimensional graph that shows the name of each entrant to the marriage going down, and against going across. At the place where any two names intersect, there is either a dot to indicate that the two are married to each other, a Ka...

Gay marriage, polygamy, etc.
Does your conworld have same-sex marriage, polygamy, child marriage, interspecies marriage, necrophiliac marriage, etc.? Is interracial or intercaste marriage banned? Kankonia has no government to recognize marriages; marriages are performed by religious officials, who are free to marry any number o...

I wasn't around for this, but I'm told Kalusa made ergative langs popular, and of course Brithenig made romlangs popular. According to David J. Peterson's Smiley Award , it was ámman îar that made ergative langs popular. Kalusa, I believe, was notable for being a collaborative conlang. Then there i...

Re: Why does every one hate Romlangs?
The thing about Romlangs is that many of these are just mixtures of words that look and sound like Romance roots, without a regular derivation from Latin. Talossan is probably the best-known examples of these. Many Euroclones fit this pattern too. That's what conlangers hate about Romlangs.

Re: Tales From the Divine Plane
I feel that if I take a few sentences describing the character's personal thoughts, I'll bog the story down and fall into the slippery slope of telling rather than showing. It's only "telling rather than showing" if some invisible third-person narrator is telling the story. Your story is ...

Nice! I love the numerous, detailed, and often humorous example sentences, as always. [:D] If you don't mind my asking, what is an aphmyular? An aphmyular is a Sweet 13 party for coming of age into the Rasaphi religion, like a bar/bat mitzvah on Earth. On their thirteenth birthdays, Rasaphis have a...

Damn it, you're right! I've edited it to change 1sg to 3sg.(I could be wrong, but I think the first example's gloss might be a bit off regarding the pronoun?)
Good catch!
