Re: See a penny, pick it up, All day long you'll have good luck.

The New York cartoonist Roz Chast once published a cartoon with variations. One was: "Find a penny, let it be/Someone may need it more than me". Another was: "Find a penny, walk right past/You never know who had it last".

Re: The Sixth Conversation Thread

I just ran SpellCheck (Corel WordPerfect's version thereof) on my LCV file. It caught three typos (such as "cbop" for "chop") but it needs to update its vocabulary. It's not too good with linguistics terms like "ergative" and "animacy", for starters. It trips ...

On IRC, it was made known to me by CBB people that there is a natlang called Rumantsch Grischun.
Well, Kankonian sounds like Konkani! That's never bothered me, though.

Today I learned this new Finnish word that I think would be a great name for a Finnish metal band . . .

The diagram is up with these languages! More would still be appreciated, of course. Hmm, my script doesn't have underdots, though it does have breve below to indicate velars. The red line pointing to Vrkhazian means that it doesn't fit that criteria. I believe you mean " those criteria", ...

I keep getting notifications saying that DV82LECM is quoting me in the Yǫlá Skásti thread, which they are not, and when I click on them, it goes back to a post that, indeed, did quote me, but was from a very long time ago. Do we know why this is happening? (Like, I get a notification that says &quo...
