Nope I think trolling is playing the game when we think it is a non-sense... I really think building a language with purpose of making something better is really interesting, even if I do not believe of any possibility of making it a real auxlang... I do not want to discourage that big effort that c...

Re: Atlas: new auxlang
Languages, like any sort of created art, must be judged on their merits relative to their goals. What's the goal of art than can be judged (except making money...) Is conlang art... (cannot making money...) I'm pretty sure that Frislander's languages could just as easily function as a lingua franca...

Re: Atlas: new auxlang
Hold up. Are you seriously suggesting that linguae francae are chosen ? Who has the power to bestow lingua franca status unto a language? Is there a secret cabal or something? I believe they tend to be known as the "ruling class" : those people with all the money and power. The appeal of ...

What do you mean by "advantages"? Does natively speaking a language actually confer those advantages? If it does, and that is important, why don't countries just adopt/impose English (being the current lingua franca) upon their populations? why do you think english is spoken all over the ...

Re: Atlas: new auxlang
