So I'm confused. Is this a roleplaying thread? How are our characters talking to each other? Have we all been transported into the same room? What are we talking about, and why?

Yes, I'd like to question the logic of people from advanced civilizations speaking to people of lower technologies and how the latter aren't worshipping/destroing the former.

Really, I was intending there to be a thread for "pre-modern" cultures...

There is a pre-modern thread, but it's on the ZBB.

No-one posts there anymore, it's basically dead.
And many CBB people don't post on ZBB

There's another pre-modern thread on Anthologica that people do make posts on (well, more often than on the ZBB). Although not many CBB people post there either.

If you need a raison d'etre for this thread, here's one. You're character is the "Helene Smith" of your race. Through dreams, they can tap into this special "space" within which to contact individuals from other places & times. You are able to get a partial view of the others' world, as they tell you.
