Species? This only applies to sapient species, right? Like the humans native to Damta and any aliens they may encounter during the Space Age? Because I imagine a fly or a louse wouldn't have full human rights . . .
yeah...certainly

though animal(i,e, non-sapient species) rights might be an issue currently, but they are discussed separately

The notice at the top of the Fandom Wikia reads:

"Fandom's new Wiki Rules and Blocking Policy goes into effect on April 1st, meaning local blocks must be related to defined local rules or the Terms of Use. For more information about this policy change, read this blog or this help page."

. . . but I just have to ask, "Is this an April Fool's joke?"

It appears not. I'm still trying to parse what it means and am reading this: https://community.fandom.com/wiki/User_ ... ing_Policy

I've updated our page to include a rules section to comply with the new policy's requirement for having one. It's pretty simple at the moment and obviously place holder.
Main page: https://damta.fandom.com/wiki/Damta_Wiki
Wiki rules: https://damta.fandom.com/wiki/Wiki_Rules

Edit: I've added a "Return to Damta Wiki" link in some pages which is so hilariously old school and unncessary since there is a Main Page button at the top of each page. Doh.

Good work on the rules, Nachtuil! And it was amusing how they actually specifically said it wasn't an April Fool's joke . . .

Why would anyone want to start anything official like this on 1 April is certainly the real April fools joke! If you've been blogging about it for six weeks already, just institute the rule change in mid March, or wait til mid April.

And then there's the fact that decennially, April 1 is Census Day in the U.S.! They're just begging for joke answers! Like "Sex" -- "Yes, please!"

Can I join? I have an idea of "Macro-Blekian" language family, divided into Core-Blekian & Highlands-Blekian subfamilies.
The Core-Blekians will be nomads, living on a large basin (like Taklimakan desert but not desert, but steppe)
The Highlands-Blekians will have more advanced culture, they will live in mountains near the basin. Neither know the writing.

I just woke up from a dream wherein a saw a strange web and noticed a sign near a hole. Reading the sign upside-down, I could gather that "blackhead spiders" lived nearby.

I thereafter came up with this:

I don't want to search the 20 pages of this thread, what's the current year on Damta? I want to put Plakian languages on Damta wiki but I need some chronology :)
