Right, quick run through of how these lessons are going to look like, then we'll start.
I am not going to do anything to do with phonetics, apart from providing the pronunciation to new words. Wikipedia was made for a reason.
When I write 'ue', 'oe', or 'ae', I mean 'ü', 'ö', and 'ä' respectively.
All nouns begin with a capital letter.

Simple nouns
Nouns in German are in one of three genders- Masculine, Feminine, and Neuter. It also has four cases- Nominative, accusative, dative and genitive. We'll use just nominative for now. The 'the's and 'a's change accordingly.
