Chrísos and Cholpos (← Ancient Greek κόλπος kólpos "bay") are the only Caliprian towns marked on the map with an Ancient Greek etymology, the rest are all native names (with exception of Amana, related to Proto-Berber *am-an "water")

As a treat, my favourite of the native town etymologies:

Well, I'm not a big fan of democracy myself, as you can see if you read my posts in the 8values Test and Inner Bruise threads. But as long as democracy remains in America . . .

I'm of the opposite opinion. If democracy is to remain in America, you're going to have to disenfranchise millions of people. (I include myself in this, but am not registered to vote in the first place, so…)
