What are you listening to/watching?

What can I say? It doesn't fit above, put it here. Also the location of board rules/info.

Fellow at the beginning looks a lot like P.D.Q. Bach's great great great grandson or Peter Schickele.

Taylor Swift - All Too Well (10 Minute Version)

"All Too Well" was already one of my favorite Swift songs because of how specific and vivid its images are, and the 10-minute version just drills even deeper. But I can understand why it was cut in half originally (besides its length); that's such raw emotion to expose to the world.

Beyoncé - Daddy Lessons

Belatedly listening to the entirety of "Lemonade". This song intrigues me because of how many other songs it causes me to think about: "Before He Cheats", "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree". And the beginning is achingly familiar, but I have no idea what song it reminds me of.

Just rewatched Russian Doll, what with the second season coming out next month. On a rewatch the original isn't quite as brilliant as it was at first sight - knowing which bits are red herrings and which aren't makes the early episodes in particular drag a little more (and the first episode was too draggy the first time - if you've not seen it, do watch at least the first two episodes, since the second is a lot funnier and more intriguing than the first). And the ending still doesn't really work even on a rewatch (I understand where they're going, but they could have done with another episode to get there, I think). On the other hand, there are a bunch of little details that mean more on a rewatch than they did the first time around, and it's still a very good show, so rewatching it was on balance a good decision.

Still uncertain about the idea of a second season, though. The first seemed completely self-contained, and it's hard to see how they could do a second season without it feeling like either an anticlimax or a repetition. The trailer is promisingly weird, though.

No One by Aly & AJ

So I just noticed that this Disney movie tie-in song has a Plato reference in the bridge ("Your life plays out on the shadows of the wall/You turn the light on to erase it all/You wonder what it's like to not feel worthless/So open all the blinds and all the curtains"). Sadly, it is not the tie-in song for "Atlantis: The Lost Empire", a story that takes place mainly in a giant cave, with a people cut off from the outside world and deceived about their true nature. Missed opportunity [:'(]

That doesn't sound very safe. Or possibly legal?

Anyway, I'm watching the obvious: Derry Girls, Better Call Saul, Russian Doll, and soon the last of Ozark, and then Stranger Things a couple of weeks later. Why is everything released almost simultaneously!?!?
