Thanks :)
The text is as follows:
ixəddamn ay n-ga i pər3u g° maṣər. i-ss-ufġ aġ əṛbbi ənnəġ dinnaġ s ufus ən ddr3, s ufus ikuwan.
Note that it is not in its native script :)

Re: Guess The Language!!!
Berber, i can see. But it looks influenced by something else. I'll say Judeo-Berber.

Re: Guess The Language!!!
I was going to say it reminded me of Ancient Egyptian.
Re: Guess The Language!!!
@Arzemju True :) It is indirectly connected in two ways, first being that it was influenced by a semitic people, and the other that the language itself was influenced by Arabic. So yes, it is Judeo-Berber. Your turn :)

Re: Guess The Language!!!
I thought of both, but Old Norse is quite different in its orthography and some Old Frisian texts I found didn't use <þ> or <ð>, but rather <th> and I couldn't spot <ü> either. It does kind of look like it might be some old anglo-frisian ish text to me, so I might just be wrong and you might just end up getting it right .

You are right!rickardspaghetti wrote:I say Old Norse.
Text is originally written in Runic script, you can find it on omnilgot :)

Re: Guess The Language!!!
Perhaps that's why it uses <ü>. It didn't look like the standard Old Norse orthography, or what you should call it.
Anyways...
