It is indeed a noun. A hint: it is a neuter noun.

Is it edible? Or is it just something that can be smeared like ointment or lotion?

Oh, no worries! I was pretty sure, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions, so I thought I'd ask.

I'll try to have something new soon.

Barmish is not a Germanic lang, not even Indo-European, but it has a fair amount of loanwords derived from either Old Norse or Proto-Germanic.

Guess the word: lothro [ˈlɔθɽɔ]

Hint:
Spoiler:
Take note that Barmish has gender-dependent vowel harmony.
A few years, I posted about Bløjhvåtterskyll. That's Barmish nowadays, and it's quite different from back then.

The person who posts the next word is usually the one who guessed the previous one correctly.
