Thank you.

Did the Latin word from which notau is descended contain <-t->?

If anyone else would like to participate in this round of the game, feel free to jump in at any time. Although the current round has been going on for a few months, don't feel like it's too late to start playing now. I really can't say that I enjoy being the only one guessing, so please don't hesitate to join me if you're interested in doing so.

To recap what we've learnt so far about jaulétin notau [ʒoleˈtẽ nuˈto]:
  • It is a noun phrase
  • It unfortunately does not mean jellyfish
  • jaulétin is a noun, which is not descended from a single Latin word
  • jaulétin can be broken down as jaul-ét-in, with -ét-in cognate to French -et-in
  • The Latin ancestor of jaulétin did not begin with <g> or <iV>
  • notau is a noun deriving from a Latin word beginning in <na> which could be an adjective or a noun

Is jaulétin notau a name for an animal? Besides jellyfish of course.
