Is -muêl- from molo, molui, molitum?

[cross] Not really... although in some forms this is the case, the difference is morphological rather than phonological.

Gonna guess that means that the verb is *molliō ‘to wet, to dampen’? Re-wetting center… Is it a term for a laundromat?
