Nice word shimo!

I dunno if I’ll have much time in the next couple of weeks since class starts tomorrow, but I might as well try.

Next: àcogliuac /əkoˈʎwak/

It’s a harder one

It can be used as multiple parts of speech, one of which has adjective-like properties. That is not the most common usage though.

Does it descend from a single existing Classical Latin word?

I'm sure through some tortuous argument I could vaguely say that the concept that àcogliuac represents could be something "to do with water... or wheels?", but that would be incredibly unreälistic, and probably abusive. So I'm 'fraid to say the answer is "no" to both

Maybe, but for the purposes of this, you should probably treat this as a no, not because I want to make this difficult for you, but because I don't want to make it hard for you.

Hmm… maybe this has already been ruled out by your response to Jackk's initial question, but just to make sure, is it an adverb?

[tick] I would typically call the function that it takes as an “adverb”

In the language it would be understood as a single word; but it comes from three words in Latin (some of which were inflected)

Is the first word a preposition at all?

Did the last word have one of the suffixes -acus or -aticus?
