Very, very close! welledges is indeed "electoral constituencies/districts". teketting has decidedly negative connotations, however.

I think you deserve it because I wouldn’t have gotten it without shimobataar’s broad hint in reply to your very accurate last guess.

You could pretty much pick any random word in Old Wentish, since the sound changes aren't published.

Sure, but the sound changes to Old Wenthish are also almost all really obvious, so that most OW words are fairly transparent to speakers of Germanic languages. [some random words: snúta (snout); sittena (sit); meolc (milk); etc]. I want to find something that isn't so immediately obvious, without just being a loanword. It also doesn't help that I'm in the middle of (read: gotten distracted from) updating the existing lexicon.


So I've gone with a modern Wenthish word. It's not a great one, I'm afraid, and it's probably not going to be easy - ideally I'd go with something where you take a while to work it out and then kick yourself afterward, but this isn't one of those, I don't think. Nonetheless, it has a few interesting features, so, why not:

can it be divided at least into *rą́ngong+*blądha, and is the latter element (in this division, lattermost in some other) derived from either *blandijana or *blandana?

Just to clarify, does <ą> represent something that developed in part from a nasal segment? Also, did the origin of *blądha begin with a *b in Proto-Germanic?

I'm afraid not, no. It can sometimes develop from a nasalised vowel or a vowel before a nasal in some circumstances, but neither explains its presence here.
[orthographical tangent: the 'ogonek' here is actually by analogy with the ogoneked forms of <e> and <o>, which, as in Norse, in turn derive from a visual blend of that vowel with <a>. The extended tail was then analogically extended back to <a> itself]

FWIW, the acute accent indicates length, and a-ogonek-acute indicates back /A:/. a-ogonek-in-open-syllable may indicate exactly the same thing, or may indicate /V:/, I'm not sure which yet.
