hüzünlü oluyorum :'(. Türk Halk müziği Osmanlı tarihtendir! Çok doğru! Ama Orhan Gençebay (Halk müzisyen) seviyorum. Onu en iyi şarkı 'Batsın bu dünya'. Biliyor musunuz? Maalesef Türk Halk Müziği gibi eskidir sanıyorum.

Eurovision 2010 seviyordum. En iyi grup adı maNga 'We Could Be The Same'li çok harika oluyordu! Eurovision seviyordu musun?

Dediklerinizde bazı düzeltmeler yapsam olur mu? Önemli olan doğru öğrenmek.

Is it okay if I make some corrections on what you say? The important thing is learning the right way.

Evet, "her şeyi unuttum!" olmalı.

Yes, it should be "her şeyi unuttum."

Bu şarkıyı hiç duydunuz mu?

Başlığına bayılıyorum, "Aklımın İplerini Saldım"
Spoiler:
Have you ever heard of this song? [url] I love the title, "Aklımın İplerini Saldım"
(Well, I suck at translation but it means "I released the strings of my mind")

Those verbs are gitmek and sevmek [:D]
Ah Japonya ah... Bir ara ben de gitmek isterim ama ne derler bilirsin, ne çıkarsa bahtına.

Code: Select all

Ne çıkarsa bahtına

Kanada'da okuyan bir arkadaşım geri döndü. Belki onunla kutlarız yeni yılı, kim bilir?

*facepalm* Bu iki fiil iyi biliyorum. Niçin "ı" yazdım... Bilmiyorum.
(I do not however know how to construct indirect questions like this one...)

Benim yapay dillerimde sıkça "ı"-yı kullanıyorum, ama [ɯ] değil -yi temsil ediyor. Bu nedenle, Türkçe'yi yazsam, yanlış anlıyorum.

Ben kedimle kutlarım! İyi bir kedidir! [:)]

Aslında gayet hatasızlar. Sadece:
DerEsseintes wrote:Niçin "ı" yazdım... Bilmiyorum.
Bu cümleyi "Niçin "ı" yazdığımı bilmiyorum" diye yazardım. Bir de;
DerEsseintes wrote:Bu nedenle, Türkçe'yi yazsam, yanlış anlıyorum.
Bu cümle pek anlamlı gelmiyor. Aşağıdaki nasıl?

Code: Select all

Bu nedenle Türkçe yazarken karıştırıyorum
this reason-with(?) turkish write-AOR-SEMELFACTIVE(?) mix.up-PROG-1SING
I'm trying to practice my glossing because I'm terrible at it, please correct if you see a mistake.

Edit: Sadece meraktan soruyorum, bilgisayarın/telefonun klavyesinde <ı> var mı?
Spoiler:
only curiosity-ABL ask-PROG-1SING, computer-GEN/telephone-GEN keyboard-POSS-LOC "ı" exist Q

Düzeltmelerine teşekkür ederim! [:D] Ama sorum var: "yazardım" nedir? "I would write"?
Santophrin wrote:Edit: Sadece meraktan soruyorum, bilgisayarın/telefonun klavyesinde <ı> var mı?
Evet, telefonumun klavyeleri arasında Türkçe klavyesi var. Benim yapay dillerimi yazarken, çok kullanıyorum. [;)]

Meraktan soruyorum: Ne diller konuşabiliyorsun? Arapça(yı?) da konuşabiliyor musun? Ben Arapça(yı?) seviyorum. Japonca konuşabilmeğini biliyorum.
Spoiler:
I'm sure that last sentence is wrong. I cannot for the life of me remember all the ways of constructing complex sentences in Turkish, and I'm too lazy to dig out my Turkish textbooks and grammar, wherever they may be. But it sure is fun to try again!

Also, my glossing sucks too...

Exactly!
DesEsseintes wrote:Benim yapay dillerimi yazarken, çok kullanıyorum. [;)]
Oradaki virgüle gerek yok, başka bir hata yok.
Spoiler:
A coma is not needed there (lit. There is no need to the coma that is there), I can't see any other mistakes.
DesEsseintes wrote:Meraktan soruyorum: Ne(I would prefer that you use "hangi") dilleri konuşabiliyorsun? Arapça da konuşabiliyor musun? Ben Arapçayı da(?) seviyorum. Japonca konuşabildiğini biliyorum.
Hangi: Which
Did you mean that you like Arabic too? If that's so you should use the de/da but if you omit that it is just a sentence stating that you like Arabic. There is nothing wrong with it but it just sounds more complete to include de/da if your intention was the former one.
About the bildiğini, the future tense and the -dı/di type past tense can be put into this form and function as direct objects. Examples:

Yazdığını biliyorum.
Yaz-dık-ın-ı bil-yor-um
write-PAST-2SG-ACC.DEF know-CONT-1SG
I know that you wrote.

Geleceğimi söyledi.
Gel-ecek-im-i söyle-di-∅.
come-FUT-1SG-ACC.DEF say-PAST-3SG
He/she said that I will come.

Hayır, Arapça bilmiyorum. Adam gibi konuşabildiğim diller Türkçe, İngilizce, Japonca ve belki ( [xP] ) Almanca.
Spoiler:
No, I don't know Arabic. The languages I can talk in well ("adam gibi" is one of my favourite expressions, literally it means "like a man" but it doesn't establish a sense of masculinity like it implies, it just means well/proper) are Turkish, English, Japanese and maybe German.
