Re: Language practice thread
Creo que nanse debe ser una palabra verdadero en inglés.
I think "nanse" should be a real word in English.
Pero... ¿qué pudese significarlo?
But... what could it mean?

Well, there is "nance", as in "nancyboy", but it's not a nice word.

Una buena pregunta. Pues, tal vez, como "dance" pero con un "n" en vez de la "d."DesEsseintes wrote:¿Cómo lo pronunciaría?

A good question. Well, maybe, like "dance" but with an "n" instead of the "d."

"Deber" debe estar en el presente porque el verbo anteriór también está en el presente y es un verbo que no requiere el uso del subjuntivo en el complememto
"Deber" should be in the present because the verb before is also in the present and is a verb that doesn't ]equire the use of the subjunctive in its complement.

Mais moi j'écris mes messages en français, alors personne ne sait me corriger ! Mouahaha !
But I post in French, so no one can correct me! Mwahaha!
À moins que je ne fasse un faux pas et qu'une personne observatrice et gentille ne le remarque.
Unless I make a mistake and some kind, observant person notices.

I agree.
Je pense qu'un nanse est une personne agitée.
I think a nanse is a restless person.
D'abord, on a abrégé « antsy » et puis on a réanalysé « an anse ».
First, "antsy" was abbreviated, then "an anse" was reanalyzed.

Pour être gentille, j'ai pas souligné les coquilles.
To be kind, I didn't underline the typos.
Les coquilles font pas partie de la grammaire.
Typos aren't part of grammar.
