Quispe has passed 1,000 words with sesuí-tapixí, a species of black plant known for its ornamental flowers. As a type of dianthophyte (flowering black plant with two types of flower), a sesuí-tapixí individual plant has some sesuís, which are white, and some tapixís, which are yellow. The words sesuí and tapixí were exotic borrowings from local languages.

And Park Bom, congrats on that 1,500 milestone!

I did it!

I just added word #75,000 to my Kankonian dictionary.

I was going through every creature word from around the galaxy and adding them into my Kankonian dictionary, when I added lusa while doing the Shaleyan menagerie. Lusa means "lusa lotion", and is a type of lotion the Shaleyans, what with their fair skin and all, put on their skins so they won't burn in the sun. Lusa lotion comes from the lusa lotion plant, which is known in Shaleyan as biwino.

Tjis means I met my goal of 75,000 words in Kankonian in time for the twenty-fifth anniversary. ::Blows noisemaker:: But I can't relax yet, I'm only halfway through my Master Species List.

It feels good to know I made it in time. [<3]

Word #76,543 was twistokhsustas. This is a nectar-drinking type of bremnos (think flying-fish-evolved-into-a-bird) on such planets as Pluos. This word is a borrowing from Ampwanitz, the lingua franca of the homa from Pluos. It comes from twiss (genitive twistis), meaning nectar, plus the verb khsustokhs, meaning to suck, and the agent noun suffix -as.

Kankonian now has the fourth largest lexicon of any conlang, led only by Esperanto, xuxuxi, and Classical Yiklamu.

I passed 77,000 words in Kankonian now! Word #77,000 was binastenyis, a word meaning "binastin user". Binastin is a recreational drug obtained from the binasta, a tree from the lef bioswath (which means planets like Saros and Ispatchi). Binasta, borrowed from a language of Saros, is the root word. The suffix -enya, borrowed from Shaleyan, forms the name of a drug (e.g. tosfaba, apricot -> tosfabenya, laetrile). And -is is a suffix for a person.

The complete dictionary of Esperanto has about 77,000 words. That means Kankonian is in a dead heat with Esperanto as to lexicon size now! [<3]

Rireinutire has reached 15,000 words. Word #15,000 was

kehata vt. to flinch, start, jump, cringe (at, from PTV)

(Actually, it was more like words 14,998-15,001. But anyway.)

In actual unique lemma forms, Rireinutire is somewhere around the 9,500 mark. Not bad for a mere ten years of work, if I do say so myself.

My newest conlang, Mookré, now has fifty lemmas (plus some suffixes and grammar since I mainly translated whole sentences). It's very rare for me to have a conlang with so much development.

Behold!

Yélian has just reached the milestone of

6,000 entries.

The 6000th entry is valit [ˈvaːlɨt] - meaning hobby (regular pastime activity).
It is derived from the prefix valit, which means "again". It's a shortening of valituruntal, which subsequently is the 6,001st word in the dictionary.
It has an irregular plural form, valtaun.

It took me 2 years to reach from 5,000 to 6,000 words. Special thanks goes out to the Lexember threads 2020 and 2021, which made my create about 500 of these 1,000 extra words.
The next goal is to reach 7,777 words by Yélian's 10th birthday, which is on the 12th of February, 2024!
Wipe the glass. This is the usual way to start, even in the days, day and night, only a happy one.

Hey, that's pretty good! Congrats on the 6,000.

And 7,7777 sounds like a number the speakers of Lao Kou's Géarthnuns would like!

On September 29, 2021, Kankonian reached 77,500 words with Bezkoliti, the Kankonik spelling of Bhezkoliti, a city in Povoi.

On October 7, 2021, Kankonian reached 77,777 with Mekong, the Kankonian name for the Mekong River.

Just before midnight (Pacific Coast Time), Achel reached 4,000 words with souig, meaning "sarong".

This makes Achel the second Leholang to reach 4,000 words, and the second largest lexicon out of all the Leholangs. I believe Shaleyan's in third place.

Word #78,910 in Kankonian:

oorkselki, meaning "forficulate".

Oor is a connective meaning "like" or "as". It is often used as a prefix. A kselki is a pair of scissors.

78,910 is a legitimate milestone number, right? Seven-eight-nine-ten?

Woohoo! Congrats!!
I'd say it counts as a milestone number, but given the insane speed you augment the Kankonian dictionary, you could as well have waited for 80,000 [:)]

Thanks!

And 80,000 will probably take a few months. I'm almost at 79,000, though. I just have some F-words to finish. On Monday I did "face wax" through "foveitis". Maybe later today I can do the fr- and fu- words.
