So yesterday I did 125 new words for Kankonian and found many concepts that were missing. Some of them were obscure words like "geat" and "giallolino", but some were words everyone knows, like "glove compartment" and "group sex". I mean, if I didn't already have a word for "glove compartment", I have work to do. It will still be a while until Kankonian's lexicon is complete.

I'm amazed that anyone could get that many words. Most of my languages don't pass 30, 40 words.

Scrapper/filler/misplacer. I feel like there should be another category for people who keep working on a conlang to the point where it's pretty good, then realize that they did something "wrong" and start a new one, only to later learn that that conlang was fine after all.

My Tɐ́lʒrə̬k language lexicon has reached over 2,000 words! I still plan on making more words. I also plan on printing my Lexicon I already have on Lulu.com so that way I can keep track of my progress. I will have a section in this lexicon that has more grammar details as well. [:D]

"Repentant executioner" gets only 221 Google hits.

And congrats on that 2,000 milestone, Johnathan!

You're welcome!

Meanwhile . . .

Over the past four days, I worked and worked on adding missing P-words to my English-Kankonian dictionary. I got 592 new words -- a new record!

In the process, I surpassed both the 82,000-word milestone and the 82,500-word milestone!

Word #82,500 was gyeliktyuphis, meaning "plutophobe". It adds the person suffix -is to the word gyeliktyuph, meaning "plutophobia", cobbled together from the Ciladian roots gyelik (rich, wealthy) and tyuph (fear).

My 80,000-word milestone was on July 9, 2022. That means I made my quota of 2,500 new words a year before my deadline of July 9, 2023! [:D]

The clock now starts on a new quota: I will have to reach 85,000 words before May 3, 3024.

The lexicon of Rireinutire has reached two milestones.

18,000 words, with word #18,000 being:
etikire n. i. horsewomanship, equestrianism, equitation

And 11,000 lemmas, with lemma #11,000:
puhoti adv. later, afterward, subsequently

puhoti etikireno toroma hosona mano okanopiña suñukiva:
later horse-art-GEN fine-COMP point-PTV 1S-GEN birthmother.in.law-comother.in.law-COM discuss-PST-SENS
Later, I discussed the finer points of horsewomanship with my mothers-in-law.

What’s a lemma in this context?
(BTW, congratulations on achieving your milestones!)
