On Thursday, Kankonian reached 65,000 words.

Word #65,000 was kinliuzhowino, meaning "subdirectory". It is made up of kinliu, meaning directory (of computer files), and zhowino, meaning subgroup.

The next milestones coming up are 65,432 words, 65,536 words, and 66,666 words.

A long time ago, I posted this.

And today, while I was doing U and V words, Kankonian notched its 65,432nd word.

The word was zyevevios. It means "vibrancy". Zyevevios was formed by adding the abstract noun suffix -os (equivalent to -ness) to the adjective zyevevi, meaning "vibrant".

And my next milestone is coming up quite soon . . .

. . . and I reached the next milestone on my list.

Word #65,536 was kmoupiyebimis.

kmoup-yebim: Wilms tumor, nephroblastoma (kmoup, tumor + yebim, kidney)
kmoupiyebimi: having a Wilms tumor, nephroblastomatous (kmoup-yebim + -i)
kmoupiyebimis: Wilms tumor patient, nephroblastoma patient (kmoup-yebim + -is)

In case you haven't been following the "What did you accomplish today?" thread, -i is an adjective-forming suffix, and -is is a suffix indicating a noun for a person. Compounds with body parts are head-first, and require a hyphen. When a derivational suffix is added to such a compound, an adjectival -i- is stuck in between the two roots of the compound.

I just reached 500 words in Achel, the lingua franca of Keitel. Word #500 was dil, defined as video (something to be watched).

Word #501, incidentally, was zhai, defined as video (as opposed to audio).

I just reached 100 words in Yinše, which might be the most words I've ever created for a a priori conlang.

DON'T GIVE UP! Keep at it!

In other news, I've reached 1,000 words in Achel. Word #1,000 is tabhtajh, which means "age" (of a thing, not of a person or animal). Tabh is a stative verb meaning "to be old" (as in, opposite of new), while -tajh is a suffix to turn stative verbs into nouns that measure degree (ksob, to be heavy -> ksobtajh, weight, etc.)

I reached #2,000 in Achel! The word was Caiboulni, meaning someone who lived in Caiboul, a country that once existed on the continent of Phen. -ni is a demonym suffix. Caiboulni is a noun; where we would use it as an adjective, one has to place Caiboulni before the noun that the adjective in English would modify:

Caiboulni zannol
Caiboulni type_of_food-GP
Caiboulni food

How exciting -- my thousandth word in Txabao! I created it a few minutes ago during a lexicon-building spree.

The word is zraoqra', meaning "to share".

Very nice [:D] — nice combination of meaning and wordform

Glad you like it! I liked it too. One of the joys of reading other people's a priori conlangs, for me, is to see what kind of phonetic/orthographic concoction they came up with to express the meaning of the word -- finding the sounds that match the meaning perfectly.

Today I went through the LCV and did body parts, bodily products, plant parts, animal body parts, and bodily functions for Achel, and surpassed 2,500 words.

Word #2,500 was raib, meaning "blood vessel".

Do they have words for the various tunicae? Tunica intima, media, and externa? How about artery vs vein (vs the other kind of vein vs the other kind of artery)? I'm supposing you've got lymph and spinal fluid in there! How about the various kinds of ear wax? The various kinds of snot?

Nope.

Yes, I coined the words for vein (bhaobh) and artery (zhugh) immediately after adding the word for blood vessel.
I'm supposing you've got lymph and spinal fluid in there!
Actually I don't. But I do have bhaibb for spleen -- a part of the lymph system -- as well as piks for spine. (The BH is a voiced bilabial fricative, and the BB is a voiced linguolabial trill.)
How about the various kinds of ear wax? The various kinds of snot?
Only one word for earwax/cerumen (tuic) and one word for mucus/snot (shet).

Meyyın rebooted now has 3 words. They are:

luuy - blood
taw, pl. tawii - eye
než, pl. nižžii - hand

Come to think of it, I also have 19 forms of the copula from the root n ~ nii and the verb gis - to die.
