The usage of this verb is mainly dialectal (esp. Southern area). It is mostly used pejoratively, but sometimes also as a part of ironical self-determination (e. g. "Áiaflacatsan", a comedy group)

Note to pronunciation: the f in an <fl> anlaut is normally silent, but is pronounced in a compound after a vowel. Example: flacai [ˈlakaɪ̯] - I bubble, but: yiflacai [ʃiˈɸlakaɪ̯] - I bubbled. As flaca so is normally homophonous to laca - to hit, it came out the proverb:
