I put in two responses from a recent discussion on the CONLANG list:

Ík Koloráido mí eshithánthivin, ík Aláiska tenaìkuónkish. Déi mí eshithálmoòvin ashóanuè zizhóanuè tekáaiku. Náa goìán shí nùuvóazha shí nùevóas eshithásoòvin. Náa shíi, mosithások zhoskóahaliskazha, sisàovié íng kizhoskozhavinthiézhuthùira.

---

Gí ué! Ík anitháktiìshìe tekáaikoloridoku, ík tenaìkónthisùosh, gí shí tekéeiku shí oànìeshléi mivívinilkus.

The first identified as Faroese (ha!) and the two combined came back as Yoruba (awesome!).

I am amused :P

Lol, this might be something I begin to do a lot in my spare time :P

Jevadan - shows up as Croatian:

...which isn't as ridiculous as Winnic-Polish,

Dalic - shows up as German:

...not a part of my "Pagan languages", but I wanted to find out what Google Translate would think it was. Also, fyi, Ogian is showing up as Turkish - which isn't bad at all (e.g. da sya güzeli - I am find/good)

I did "dormorgtuu aat ogiitii hortiis kokofiigreim yaat"
which means "do you like to tickle sharp puzzles?". Pretty random.

It came up as Malay

I first posted "Amae aeil" (Our Father), and it interpreted it as Filipino. (Unsurprising, since I base a lot of my lexicon on it... ama > amae > father.)

Then I pasted the entire prayer text:

Amae aeil,
Auunlannakua kkauu nun laeta
Iauaeaka jaruun kkilu.
Arijiatalae arikkar kkilu
Insunllialae iaarikua kkilu
Nun tiraen tulaen nun laeta.
Ialau, auunlagihae mi art aeil nun auat alau.
Al atilalimet kkauu maeia ikae kae sifera aeil
Tulaen auunlalimet mi siferanno aeil
Al atitiamunnaelae maeia nun iuuani,
Al atilaetas mi nun sifer si kkaliu,
Amaen.

And it said "We are not yet able to translate from Esperanto into English." :D

I entered some Ropbiin: "Ĉala Ho pra geteidba." onto Google Translate. Seems to think it's Portuguese... :D

Then I entered some Úlanůba:

Haha. Thinks it's Icelandic!

Then some old samples of my first conlang "Draconì".

Well, I typed in a senteance, Ashah kuhitei denum, deni kara denum, and as I typed, it churned out Uzbek, French, Estonian, Maltese, Malai, Yoruba and eventually settled on Turkish or Maltese (varies each time). The result was
A) Ashah kuhitei denum, Kara denum fever. (Maltese)
B) Sheet kuhitei denum. Denum Deni land. (Turkish)

The senteance is I love you, you were you in Kti. Obviously Google Translate has some things wrong :)

I tried some sentences and got very, very mixed results, even ones that changed as I typed each word :-P

One I typed in was kuna echi ne heka yu doko ite hachi ko ne hanuka.

Google seems to think this Estonian sentence translates to "ne as ECHI HEKA yu ite doko hachi ko ne Hanukkah" :-|

In actuality this Zainese sentence was said by well known Hunzai politician Mushi Nasaru Yoki, and means roughly "If one thinks about something, someone else has already created porn of it".

Quite unrelated really :-)

It guesses the first two verses of the Greater Atlian Babel text -
Yibzu, kasse Sseenkirussi ühussii usso lu ohoyi. Ussehu mu ssireyi u kotessi, kaassihu oowoonessido pokai samupu u Ssinaressi, u poru u tarrau.
- as Finnish.

(Which happens to be what I predicted it would guess - the orthography does bear quite a strong superficial resemblence to Finnish, although this is basically accidental.)

It detected
Qhasas alohab nn shimac u nn qarat.

as Danish. (while I was typeing, it went through Vietnamese, English, Italian, Czech, and finall Danish.)

It (obviously) detected it as Hebrew when I used a Hebrew orthography.
עַסַס אַלֹהַבּ נּ שִמקּ אֻ נּ עַּרַתּ

It detected

Ka kikhor kinobat ektranatam bikao methge Thinaru. Dhobat kitop.
Ka dikobatuthi, "Kinoca, barocao tulbo, ka altrocat trakho." Ka phrorat tulbo petrao ka chamar margamakho.
as Basque.

and when I put in
Kal khen epikan kal dikan khen tal elesam kaghu`~.
Kal kiakholal eklalantak leghetu`~ bikaz mesalgak Sinarag, kal zu`~ kiatopan.
Kal diku`~o'`~ [Kinoao~, tulbim baloao~, kal tlakhen atlu~.] Kal tulbin petliz kal ghaman malgamaz folo`~.
it said "We are not yet able to translate from Sundanese into English."

and when I put in

it says "We are not yet able to translate from Breton into English."

It tells me that Alel is Portuguese and/or Maltese.

It tells me that Kala is Vietnamese/Malay/Filipino depending on which sample I use.

Swedish, and then Portuguese.

I think Portuguese might just be the default for any lang written with the latin alphabet that isn't recognizable.

The bloody thing often detects my conlang as 'English detected'.
Once, it returned a message saying 'We are not yet able to translate from Latin to English'!

That made me crack up like WTF, because my conlang has basic latin derivatives and the program didn't recognise it in all that time... stupid program!

I entered the snippet:

Málkut safarástu vilsi wal?
Ali śtilt alujamberlofis yuniyufis pifcisufis prawátaŋu sul mit dosta.
Ral...safalástu vilsi wal, gal nit?
Alan triktin rirrátku vilmi, yag alse śtilti mi dístu vilmi. Nu alan śtiltin alujamberlofis yuniyufis pifcisufis masátku vilmi.

And got Croatian. It cycled through English, Danish, and Indonesian while typing.
At least it got 3/4 Indo-European languages, which my conlang is.

English, polish, danish, french, italian, spanish, Romanian. It's in the right ballpark of what it's based off suprisingly.
I did this:
Oulruuts litdou rouma
All roads lead to Rome
Know phrases in more languages than can fit in this signature.
Speaks English and Spanish.
Reads Sumerian.
There is more.

Fedrelar: "Libronehl abenezhon kim nengobedehn kam podemlengarm abathre enrungugok enkethebos." Google switches between German and Albanian, but more Albanian.

"The father teaches the son who does not obey with the rod of correction at night in the house." Literally, "is-teaching ACC-son [he-not-continuously-obeys] INSTR-"rod of correction" NOM-father LOC-night LOC-house." I am hoping to get more info up soon, but it's an agglutinating language. There is no equivalent of the English /h/, so that character always modifies the sound it comes after. "eh" is open mid-central, "zh" is voiced postalveolar fricative, "ng" is nasal velar, "dh" is voiced dental fricative, "th" is unvoiced dental fricative. (I haven't gotten the hang of using unicode just yet, nor have I turned the script into something I can put online.)
"Cry me a river, build me a bridge, and get over it."

I marvel that the hardest parts of my life (fear, mistakes, guilt, sin, doubt, failure) are of man, while what I crave most (rest, hope, love, peace, forgiveness) are of God.

Gvirat: Vrat ki Zijo ja. Vat tso tsvat jo dizmi tikhi, jivem lji krikhi ti. Gvirat sva khrja ti.

Switched back and forth between Serbian and Croatian before settling on Croatian. Pretty good guess over all since I based the phonology off Russian.
