Bogoidi
This conlang is based on the broad concept of storytelling. Of course you can tell a story in any language, but I want to incorporate what I consider colorful narration. This means extensive use of ideophones, some tense-aspect play in the past, and animacy distinction. For now I'll share the phonology (boring, I know), but I should post something of the grammar sometime this week.
Phonology
I'm trying not to focus too much on phonology right now. It will almost certainly change in the future, but here's what we're working with in the meantime:
Consonants
p t t͡s t͡ʃ k ʔ <p t ts tsh k '>
b d d͡z d͡ʒ g <b d dz dzh g>
f s ʃ h <f s sh h>
v z ʒ <v z zh>
l r j w <l r j w>
m n <m n>
Vowels
a e i o u <a e i o u>
ai̯ oi̯ au̯ <ai oi au>
Stress
Stress is placed on the first syllable of the root word.
Phonotactics
In general, there is a CV(n) syllable structure
Allophony
TBD, but likely minimal

Re: Bogoidi?
I was doing a thing like this a loooong time ago. It was for poetry. Can’t wait for more!
