Re: CBB Conlang Relay XIII [now running + sign-ups still open!]

Post by GoshDiggityDangit »

Oh man, I didn’t know we were almost done with ring one! I’m pretty excited, but I also fear that Fesian won’t be developed enough for the text. We’ll see, I guess.

Torch sent to Click and k1234567890y! Sorry this took a bit longer than expected - some verbs got a little wonky.
Edit: Substituted a string instrument for a French interjection.

If you missed the relay, you can still join!
Sign-ups are open and will remain so for most of the duration of the relay.
I'd say you can just be added to ring 1.

Hi! Don’t worry, if you’re up for it I can still add you to Ring 1 since it has one player less than Ring 2.

Why the check mark? Jute hasn't been on since March 24.

Sorry, I had had problems logging in earlier so I passed the torch via DM on Discord to Click, who forwarded it to the next user.

Yup, I got it. I am having difficulty processing this stuff, but luckily, because I live in Japan, I get an extra day!

Feel free to ask for help, I am known to not be good at documenting my language, unfortunately.

Oh don't say that, this documentation of Jutean is excellent in my opinion.

Thanks, there's a lot still missing on that page, though. And I wasn't sure if I'm explaining myself well there either [:S]

Howdy. It’s pretty overdue, but I was not able to translate into Fesian the text. I way overestimated my understanding of Fesian’s grammar, and I found myself unable to translate the text.

So are you just not translating it or gonna go into a different conlang...?

I've gone over my time limit, so I assumed I can't do anymore. It's just in English now.

That’s not how it works. The key part of the relay is translating it and handing it off so that we can see the end result. The timeframe is just so that the whole thing doesn’t take forever but isn’t a hard limit.

Oh. I've never done a relay before, I don't know how it works. I guess I'll be done in a couple of days then. [:|] Sorry for all the trouble!

Hey, don’t sweat it. I’m not gonna have time this weekend to translate anyway so take your time ;)
