At the start of your turn, you will receive a short text written in a conlang of the previous participant. The PM will contain some grammar info and a short glossary - just enough to translate the text. Your job is to make sense of the text, translate it to your language, and pass the document ("torch") with necessary info for translation to the next person in line. You’ve got 3 days / 72 hours for your turn.
As I’m the organizer, make sure to send me the torch together with the English translation of the text.
Once the relay is completed, the final text will be revealed and compared with the original, and I’ll also make all in-between stages available.
Step-by-step instructions are given below.
- Write down an English translation of the text you received.
- Translate the text into your conlang.
- Compose a short document with enough info for the next participant (vocabulary + grammar notes).
- Send the next participant a message containing 2. and 3.
- Send the organizer (me) a message containing all of 1., 2. and 3.
