Actually I thought I was going to finish it tonight but I came up a little short on time. Can I have one more day to finish it up?

That's fine, but I may take longer than expected since my availability next week is greatly reduced for work reasons.

Sorry about the delay, I have received and began working on the relay this morning. I had some stuff going on the last two days so couldn't start it then.

I am about halfway done and have gotten stuck there due to it being my birthday on the 18th. The only firm plans I have today (other than work) shouldn’t interfere with me finishing it.

I am very sorry for this delay. I have not been able to carve out enough time and effort as I had thought I would be able to, but I do want to finish it.

We've had 10 translations so far; 6 have been quicker than you, but 4 have been slower than you. You're about average. So I wouldn't worry too much.

For real this time: I’ll have it done in about two, two and a half hours.
