There are no dipthongs in ɻɐw◌̬ən only long vowels. Aux + O. S. V. Word order. The language has 5 grammatical moods: indicative, imperative, interrogative, conditional, and subjunctive. The main verb appears in a non-finite form with less inflection. No core cases or voices. Just uses Aux + O. S. V. and vowel harmony.

The nocturnal gnomes know of a special tree whose leaves they can smoke. They always smoke at night with their long pipes. They use these leaves of the tree for other purposes as well like healing concoctions and other ritual practices. This tree is called ʃɛðɛðɐθ and the gnomes derive the word to smoke from this word ðɛðɐ. The gnomes will refer to the tree itself as ʃɛðɛðɐθ as well as it’s leaves. In the ɻawən language a lot of nouns end in θ sound.

In the bottom example the auxiliary helping verb goes at the front and is in the conditional mood “fɛnos” – had better.

He had better smoke ʃɛðɛðɐθ or face the gnomes wrath. fɛnos/had better. ɛm/he. ʃɛðɛðɐθ/special tree leaves. ðɛðɐ/smoke. noki/or hɛlɐ/the zimɛθ/gnomes. ɻofb◌̬ɐz/wrath. w◌̬ɐɻʃɐ/face.

Tisɛθ ɛm ɛmɐ ðoli (wife/object. his/subject. he/subject. loves/verb.) – He loves his wife.

Alternation of vowel length should be a means of inflection or derivation.
